Three Cars Firebombed In North Fulton Neighborhood

Molotov Cocktails Used To Torch Cars

An arsonist firebombed three cars early Friday morning in the same north Fulton County neighborhood.

Molotov cocktails, flammable liquid in a bottle with a burning rag as a wick, were used to set the fires, according to Milton police.

"This appears to be homemade," said Milton Police Officer Shawn McCarty. "A glass bottled filled with some liquid, that's what's been tossed on the vehicles.

  • The firebombing attacks started about 2 a.m.

    The three cars, 2 Mercedes and a Honda, were all parked outside their owners' homes within a half-mile of each other.

    Two of the cars were in the Fairmont subdivision on Keyingham Way just off Highway 9.
