Patrik Elias and Brian Gionta each had a goal and an assist as the New Jersey Devils defeated the Florida Panthers, 3-1, at Prudential Center. Paul Martin scored the other goal while Scott Clemmensen made 23 saves for the Devils, who have won two straight on the heels of a four-game losing streak. Michael Frolik scored his first goal in the NHL and Tomas Vokoun was tagged for three goals on 19 shots for the Panthers, who have dropped two of their last three games.
