ATLANTA -- Now in its 23rd year, High Q is an exciting question-and-answer game show that appears weekly on WSB-TV Channel 2.Each week the program features scholastic competition between high school students from north Georgia.
The program, which is hosted by Channel 2 Action News Sports Director Chuck Dowdle, represents the station's ongoing commitment to education and has been an important part of the Atlanta community since 1986.Each week students will answer dozens of questions on a wide range of subjects including history, math, literature, science and the arts.Questions will also include topical news of the day dealing with the currents events making headlines each week.From the Extra Credit round through the Quick Quiz and into the Final Exam period, you'll have to be quick to match up with these players. Tune in Sunday morning and see if you make the grade!
He was named Georgia State Alumnus of the Year and twice voted "Best Sportscaster" by Cobb Magazine.Chuck has a daughter, Christina, who is currently a freshman at the University of Alabama studying fashion design. He is a resident of the metro Atlanta region, and has a deep love for this community and TV station, describing it as, “Very much a fabric of this area.”

Host Chuck Dowdle
Chuck Dowdle joined the WSB-TV team in August 1985. He is the sports director and anchor for the Channel 2 Action News daily broadcasts that air at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.An Atlanta native, Chuck attended the University of Georgia and received his degree in journalism from Georgia State University.
