Flowery Branch, GA -- (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Falcons signed linebacker Curtis Lofton, their second round pick in this year's draft, to a four-year contract on Friday.

Drafted 37th overall out of Oklahoma, Lofton totaled 197 tackles, three interceptions and one sack in his three seasons at the school.

Last season with the Sooners, he registered 157 tackles, the seventh-best total in school history and most since 1979, to earn first-team All-America honors.
