ATLANTA -- Channel 2 Action News won every newscast in July and was the only Atlanta station to increase in rating and share over last July in the 5-7 a.m., Noon and 5-7 p.m. time periods. The sweep ran July 3 through July 30, 2008.

“It is very satisfying to not only win all the newscasts but to see year to year growth on top of that was quite an accomplishment.” said Bill Hoffman, vice president and general manager for Channel 2. “We have been working to improve upon our degree of separation in the morning and evening by executing certain aspects just a little bit better. We succeeded and the results were telling.” continued Hoffman.
