Carol Sbarge anchors Channel 2 Action News This Morning from 5 to 7 a.m. and files stories for Channel 2 Action News at 5 and 6.

She joined WSB-TV in May 1992.

Carol previously worked as a reporter for six years at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, N.C.

Carol earned a bachelor's degree in business-economics from SUNY Oneonta, and she holds a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University.

In 1991, she was named North Carolina Journalist of the Year.

Carol is a three-time Emmy winner, including an award in 1997 for Best News Field Reporter and in 2005 for Best Anchor.

She is President of the Druid Hills Youth Sports Association and she's also involved in the local chapter of PANCAN.

Her hobbies include playing piano, reading and hiking.
