ATLANTA -- Diana Davis covers the general assignment beat for Channel 2 Action News.

She joined WSB-TV in 1983 moving from KTVI-TV News in St. Louis. While there, she covered the medical beat and continued reporting in that specialty for many years at Channel 2 before she moved back into general assignment reporting.

Ms. Davis has received many industry accolades during her career. The long list includes eight Gold Award for Outstanding Medical Coverage from the Medical Association of Georgia, four awards for "Best Specialty Reporting" from the Associated Press’s and the AMA National Medical Reporting Award. NATAS recognized her work with three Emmys.

Born in Mineola, New York, Diana graduated from the College of Wooster, in Ohio, with a BA in History of Art.
